Create High Quality Content

People are not looking for your product. Most of the time they are not looking for any product. They are looking for a solution or information about their problem.

Create content which addresses their needs. Show them that you understand them, that you have been through the same thing and tell them about your experience in that certain field.

Establish yourself as a friendly and helpful expert.

That's for your human visitors. There are also search engines who visit your website and you have to make sure that they think your website is relevant too. You do that by creating pages which focus on one main search term or keyword.
